Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences - Richmond Alex Ortegon: Went to the KPSAHS phlebotomy certification course. 5/5 stars, class was extensive and thorough. Small classes that make for exceptional student-teacher connection. Absolutely would recommend for students looking for schools to attend. Contra Costa College - San Pablo Manal Mana: Its a great college, this is my first semester in CCC, Im studying the ESL and Ive felt so much better in my English.Thank you Contra Costa College and thank you professors. Los Medanos College - Pittsburg G. C.: Ive been coming to this beautiful campus since i was a kid to walk around the pond and later as a student. Most of the professors are great, generally being helpful and nice. With the campus expanding every year, its only going to get better. Antioch University - Los Angeles - Culver City Sirena Pendragon: I LOVE Antioch! This was the best College experience of my life! I went to College of Marin, and U.C.Davis, and this was by far, my favorite college. The teachers are all awesome, and passionate about their subjects, and they pass their enthusiasm to the students. I feel like I really learned and worked hard to receive a valuable university level of education. Im so glad that I chose Antioch, and if I had to choose again, I would keep on choosing Antioch! Antioch University Santa Barbara - Santa Barbara sharon dodge: I attended in 2016-2018. I loved the program and went all in on participation. At graduation I was a real fan. However, my road to licensure was considerably delayed by the indifference, disinterest, and unavailability of adminstrative support for graduates. The unavailability of two different form” letters (a paragraph each with signatures) added six and half months total delay in receiving my final licensure from the BBS.
I was amazed at the difficulty I encountered not just once but twice, once at the start and now at the end of three thousand internship hours, awaiting the opportunity to test for a final licensing as a therapist after six years work. These were both routine form letter the BBS requires from the programs licensees attended.
I cannot recommend this program any longer. And I feel a need to add a caution about investing in it.
They just care little for alumni or past graduates. It is not a global “ feeling” of Antioch staff, but it is very apparent that it was in no way a priority to supply what only they could, to assist a past graduate. Many administrative fails in both cases, revealed that very few resources are allocated to those who have received a diploma, but whose journey is not completed until they can license.
