Unless you are in medical school, you are paying tens of thousands of dollars to watch teachers read off of a PowerPoint and write google-able research papers just to only have the degree with no skills. Then having to pay off capitalized student loans while making low income and studying real skills on your own? Its a predatory scam. Get real skills. Get certificates. Get job experience. Key College - Fort Lauderdale Jin Jin: Unfortunately I did not complete the entire course at Key College for several different reasons, most of which I can take absolute fault for. However, when starting, I was enrolling in a time that classes had already begun and I started 2 weeks after. I was never informed of what was needed or guided as to how to operate, log on and enter the online classroom in addition to navigating the program once inside. They offer "how to" videos,...if you can find them and throw you in a bit of confusion as to what it is that you will need as far as equipment, books and supplies. I realize as an adult I am sure one is able to figure this out, but in waiting weeks upon weeks to receive both the equipment and supplies and with no one at school aware of how to fix the issues that I was running into...you basically are set up to fail. Mr. and Mrs. Dooley are quite knowledgeable and try to assist but are rarely available and no one seems to know where to direct you. This school is unorganized and lacks the guidance to help their students on the road to success. I will say, in being unprepared by what is needed you will be quickly left behind in the dust and still looking for answers. Again, my fault for not completing the course, but Ive learned a valuable lesson. The real Key in this College is to find a real college locally and to use accessible resources that are better prepared from a reputable college. If you attend here, make sure you have 3-4 hours a day to dedicate and that you do not enroll in the next earliest class if its under 3-4 weeks. You need ample amount of time to be prepared and to ask questions, because if you dont youll be throwing your money to people that will be happy to take it and disappear when you need them... Palm Beach State College - Boca Raton Daniel Scheckowitz: I wish I can give this place 10 stars but it wont let me. Anyway, I went here from 2021 to 2024 and my experience was beyond amazing. Everybody was willing to help and class sizes are really manageable (30 students at most). There are only 6 buildings on campus making it easy to navigate. At the same time, the proximity to FAU gave it a university feel nevertheless. Definitely recommend.
