5 /5 Diane McLeod: If your interested in changing jobs, and need a place to start you should look into CNC Machining classes. Its a class certification in CNC machine operation. Polk College also handles job placement for CNC machine operators after course completion . Polk College has an Excellent job placement track record, for those individuals that compete the course with certification. Its an 8 hour class, 5 days a week. The instructions. Instructor-James Gibbons College campus is in Bartow.

5 /5 Raegan “R Lin”: I can’t speak of the experience of an actual student but what Polk State offers for those who want to learn and get hired for good jobs is impressive and admirable. They have several campuses across Polk County and this Clear Springs Advanced Technology building is on their Bartow campus. It’s really not so much a campus as a single building, but what they do here is pretty cool and impressive. Advanced technology is what they do- this campus is for engineering and robotics students and just walking down the hall you can look into the classrooms and see robots and other equipment students and faculty have built which is really neat. Polk State is also unique that they offer certifications for jobs so you don’t have to pay for or take the time to get an entire degree, but can still learn enough to find a good job. Hats off to them.

Southeastern University - Lakeland Lisa Richter: Graduation ceremony for my daughter today was fantastic , such a beautiful school . The ceremony was on the field for her December graduation and the presentation was on point to include fireworks, key speakers, a singer as we sang a worship song together, the entire presentation was phenomenal as is her staff and school. I highly recommend SEU~

South Florida State College - Avon Park Sierra Story: We were here for a graduation program at the Wildstein Center. The staff were great and worked well together to get people inside and seated. The program was wonderful, and you could tell that the students loved their college president. The program was wonderful, and the center was clean and beautiful. There was plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible entrances.

Everglades University Sarasota - Sarasota Rob Brown: I have attended this university, and I would not recommend it to anyone who wants to learn something. Do not expect to gain any substantial knowledge from this school. Most of the professors will just play a video from YouTube (mainly TED Talks), which you will watch during class. At the end, you will take a quiz where the professor reads you the answers. Some other professors will just read from a PowerPoint presentation of the textbook, with no engagement or discussion to ensure students are understanding the material. On multiple occasions, I literally had to show professors how to use Blackboard. Overall, I would not suggest this university to anyone. You will be paying $10,000+ per semester, and all you will get are some stupid YouTube videos and people reading you PowerPoint slides , with nothing else to offer in terms of knowledge. This is the truth. I tried it, and you shouldnt unless you like spending time and money .

Everglades University Orlando - Maitland Savannah Soto: I came across Everglades University by accident last year and it has changed my life. I had no clear career goals planned before but after I saw the Alternative Medicine path I knew that is what I want to learn! I started my first semester two weeks later. I was hesitant about going back to school but the wonderful staff at EU has been there for me step by step. The way that the terms are set up make it manageable to have work, school, and life balance. I highly recommend Everglades University for anyone who wants to further their education but does not know where to start.

Florida Polytechnic University - Lakeland Hunter Markowich: Florida Poly is a small but beautiful university. Ive passed by it on I-4 a couple times before, and it looks refreshing and contemporary. Really cool campus!

Florida Christian University - Orlando Marta Suzuki: The marriage and family therapy course exceeded my expectations. The professors demonstrated a high level of expertise, and the course content was outstanding. I received continual support from the staff whenever I had questions, and I felt warmly welcomed by everyone at the university. Overall, it was an excellent experience! I highly recommend both the university and the program. Marta Suzuki.

Everglades University | Tampa Campus - Tampa JOSE PAGAN: President of the Student Government Association. Best university I’ve been to hands down. This university is jam packed with tons of great students, professors and the leadership is unmatched. Courses are easy to fit in any work life balance and the academic department, with its open door policy provides support and help with navigating through figure goals and any life issues. The Vice President Mrs. Dina has built a very strong and supportive team that goes above and beyond a family environment. The university is also huge on Veterans, just look around the halls! Veterans as you know speak a different language and all have different experiences then civilians and the school’s atmosphere with prior service professors helps veterans transition skills from service to the work force.

Northwest Florida State College - Niceville Derek Grim: I only talked to the receptionist and a person working in the shop at nwfsc, but they seemed helpful. Other than that, there is not much of an opinion to give. I hope to possibly take some classes to further help myself in the future.

Northwest Florida State College South Walton Center - Santa Rosa Beach Lori: Faculty is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Will definitely take another class!! Thank you NWFCC!!

Northwest Florida State College Robert L.F. Sikes Education Center Crestview - Crestview Michael Odom: This place is actually one of the many historical places here in Crestview, FL! Used to be the public library named after Robert L.F. Sikes which he was a senator for Florida! and in 1995 I believe. Our community college in Niceville, FL needed more room and purchased it and started using it as part of the college campus which is now Northwest Florida State College.
