Chamberlain University - Jacksonville - Jacksonville Kayla Pafford: Like all the other reviews say, do yourself a favor and don’t go here. I spent $700 per credit hour to be talked down to by professors and deans alike. You are just a paycheck to every staff member. The price estimation when I applied was grossly underestimated, many financial programs wouldn’t help since it’s a for-profit school. There are so many issues beyond financial.
One student was rushed to the emergency room for a pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and was STILL attending lectures from the hospital room for Stigler’s pharmacology class
Professor Stigler and Holloway are the reason I completely left the medical field. Holloway is belittling and passive, as well as Stigler.
Please be warned and don’t make the worst mistake of your life like I did Keiser University Naples - Naples Stephanie Thompson: I went to Keister University to see about enrolling. EVERY person that works there is so kind & they really do care about their students. Not only did I enroll, my admissions councilor Brian, went over all the courses they offer to make sure I was really going to like what I chose. My financial advisor Pablo, was such a dear. He helped me get all the funding I needed to be able to start classes in March. Im so happy with my experience & am telling ANYONE who wants to enroll in collage, Keister is sooooo good. You have got to go check them out & see. You wont regret it!!! UF/IFAS Collier Extension, Naples FL - Naples Bryan S: The women who work here are wonderful.. Both were very helpful and accommodating. The testing, no so much. You dont know what questions you missed and would need to work on. And the grading system is confusing. 60 questions correct out of 80 should be 75% instead it was a 74% FAIL That being said I will be back to take the test again and hopefully pass. Jersey College - Naples Taylor Mathurin: Finishing my fourth semester and couldn’t be more excited about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. This school allows for nursing classes to be taken with pre-requisites to allow the students to keep engaged. One of the main reasons for picking this school was for the schedule as well. They provide a lot of resources to become a stronger test-taker and prepare you for the NCLEX. Ave Maria School of Law - Naples Crescente Pérez: Excellent law school! The quality of the academics and the warmth of the community are unparalleled. Ave Maria Law is truly committed to forming lawyers who serve the common good and influence the culture. Florida SouthWestern State College - Fort Myers Sarah A: Im thankful we have a local college that continues to make itself better with each year. Im receiving my AA in 3 credits and I have nothing but outstanding things to say about this school. My advisor has always been incredibly attentive to my needs, even down to offering book recommendations within my future major. I never feel rushed or unwanted. Not all professors or experiences will be great for everyone; however, Im thankful to say all of mine have. The campus is also quiet and beautiful to hang around.
