Columbia University School of Nursing - New YorkChaseYourGreatness: PREREQUISITE WARNING!!!!!! If you take/plan to take prerequisites with CUSON in the hopes of transferring, make note of the following: their prerequisites are listed as NURSING classes not SCIENCE classes.
Most nursing programs WILL NOT accept “nursing” credits from another college, even Columbia. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY taking nursing school prereqs here unless your future college will accept the credits. Other name-brand colleges are listing their science prerequisite courses as Nursing courses as well. BE CAREFUL!
TUITION SCAM OF THE CENTURY
Fordham University at Lincoln Center - New YorkJeffrey Interiano: Undoubtedly, this campus stands out as the finest in all of New York City! I take immense pride in attending school here, primarily because of the exceptional maintenance and care provided by the staff. The presence of a remarkable security team ensures my utmost safety, and Im consistently greeted with warm smiles and delightful welcomes from the front desk security guards.
The commitment to school safety was vividly demonstrated when an individual attempted to steal my property but was promptly deterred by their swift action. I am forever grateful for their intervention! Thank you Fordham University, and staff!
New York University - With Trey Travel: NYU is not your traditional university with miles of green acreage and beautifully manicured pathways connecting academic buildings. This university basically surrounds Washington Square, a small park filled with eclectic personalities, which acts as the schools common area, while the university itself spreads out in a 2 block radius in each direction around that same park. Given its compact size, the university has tons of people passing through, most of which are a mix between students, tourists, and locals. In a city of over 20 million people, that can be exciting or intimidating, depending upon your temperament. The school itself has around 28,000 enrolled students. If you like the excitement of a big city married to the concept of a college campus, NYU is your vibe. We toured here, and my daughter loved it. I thought it strange that we didnt get to see any classrooms, dining facilities, or living quarters on the tour, and I think this would have enhanced our overall experience. This is one of the only college tours weve been on that left out all three. There is a lot of emphasis on academics and research opportunities for students. NYU stands as the premiere educational institution in New York City next to Columbia.
