Life University Commons - MariettaMelissa Sedrick: The commons is not just dirty, but filthy. The carpets look as if they have not been cleaned for years, and are covered with stains. The railing for the stairs is rusted and full of decay. Cement portions of the balcony areas are breaking apart. The cabinets in the kitchen are broken. Some Windows are boarded up. Appliances are in pretty bad shape. Door locks are needing repair. If housing for my daughter had not been prearranged, and if I had seen the place before move in day, I would never have let her Move in. I wish I had been warned about the place. Hopefully my review will help others to look for another place to stay. I am surprised that such a nice, established University has such a low standard for its housing. I was shocked.
PCOM South Georgia - Moultrieciera ceramics: As someone who has interacted with many of the students who attend this school (not to mention literally living beside multiple). I’ve only ever met maybe like 3 of them that were even the slightest bit kind to me. Most of them are entitled. They act as if we locals are below them. At least the locals actually have a personality. If I could block them irl it would be a blessing.
Paine College - AugustaTykerah Hill: I am not a student here, however I hope the school administration see this review on their students. Some of Paine College Students are nice polite and show much reflection from their school standards and teachings. I cannot say the same for all of them. Their mouths are filled with vulgar language and filth. They are rude, impatient and don’t reflect their college in a positive light. I just couldn’t get over the nasty language. My interaction with some of them was at a family orientated arcade. Also, half of the male students smelled like marijuana. Beware if you are looking to attend and coexist with this students. So much for being a Christian College.
East Georgia State College: Augusta - Brina Moseley: Exceptional Support from an Outstanding Director
I am thrilled to share my experience with Mr. Nickolas Kelch. who played an instrumental role in my college application journey. From the very beginning he provided unwavering support that truly set him apart.
Throughout the entire process Mr. Kelch was always available to answer my questions and provide guidance. His knowledge and expertise made navigating the application requirements feel much less daunting. He took the time to understand my goals and aspirations, offering personalized advice that was invaluable.
What impressed me the most was his genuine commitment to my success. Mr. Kelch went above and beyond, ensuring that I felt confident and prepared every step of the way. The encouragement and support I received were unmatched, and I am incredibly grateful for his dedication.
Thanks to Mr. Kelch, I am now excited to embark on my college journey. I wholeheartedly recommend him to any prospective student seeking guidance and support during the application process. His impact is truly remarkable!
Augusta University ~ University Hall - Augustaodessa hinton: University Hall is great! The Academic Success Center, Career Center, and Advisors office are all in this building.... The one thing to note though is that for the most part you dont have cell service due to the cyber center downstairs. There is wifi though...
Georgia Military College, Augusta Campus - MartinezMorgan Hillman: I started taking classes January of 2019 and graduated with an A.S. in general studies July of 2020. I would HIGHLY recommend GMC for any students seeking to get a start to their college career while taking core classes that will transfer to the university of their choice. I dont believe I had a bad experience with a single professor during my time as a student! The faculty are more than willing to contribute to the success of their students, and GMC provides plenty of opportunities to seek academic help. If you stay on top of scheduling, payments, assignments, etc, youll have no problem navigating life at GMC. Smaller class sizes were a big plus when I was enrolled, and the cost was nothing compared to the first two years of a students college career at a larger university. I had an amazing experience here! The school makes me miss being enrolled as a student!
Augusta Technical College - AugustaSTAN ANDER: I am doing the Information Technology Program. I find that several of the instructors will assist to grasp the concepts and get adequate hands-on for the programming and IT(computer network) related subject than you would get at a four year institution like AU (Augusta University). Student organizations are present but not very active currently. Labs, classrooms and technology support are less than optimal or ideal as would be expected for a technical college. I hope that with the Georgia Cyber Center(GCC) being recently opened here things will change for the better in the schools future.
