Columbia College Chicago - Chicago Asia Hamlin: i wish i transferred out of this place when i had a chance to, 3 tuition raises in 3 full years i’ve gone here, and probably another coming this year if the pattern continues. tried to double charge me on a semester thinking i wouldn’t notice which is hilarious. this place is a joke and scam. they keep changing the curriculum, which messes with my graduation plan so nobody is even certain when i can truly graduate. they keep saying i need an extra semester each time i talk to a counselor and try to figure it out. also blatantly lied to me multiple times whenever i ask questions regarding classes, credits, accommodations, etc.: the answer always changes no matter who i ask. so confusing and definitely don’t recommend if you’re a first gen college student/don’t have anyone who’s been through this process before like myself. i was dreaming of this school since i was in grade school and i feel like my dreams were crushed!! (‘:

National Louis University - Chicago Campus - Chicago Ursula Kelly: Hello I am a proud Alumni Of NLU and I graduated with a bachelors degree in CJ. The professors there are there because they care and they have the experience in whatever you decide to take far as a career choice. I actually was a transfer from WestWood college which I learned and earned over 100 plus credit hours. When they shut down I felt lost but NLU gave me a new education home. I graduated with 2 extra credits more than I needed to walk the stage. I will forever be grateful for my teachers and my advisor who help push me along the way. ❤❤❤

East-West University - Chicago A G: If you are looking to come here I would just do an associates degree (but u rather go to community college). IF YOU ARE TRANSFERRING WITH AN AA DEGREE make sure you DO NOT fully trust them when they say they “accepted” your transfer credits!! ASK 4 a degree program sheet (shows exactly what you need to graduate) and the classes u have already received credit for. I know someone who transferred here & they did not input her credits correctly & she received/took 34 extra credits!! (refused to refund tuition as well) SMH. If you come here be VIGILANT with staff when it comes to your credits & classes. If you are not on a scholarship here please look elsewhere. There’s literally no amenities here no fridge or anything for students who commute here(some come from Lake county) & bring lunch etc yet there is no where to store it. No lockers for students (only athletes) if you find a locker & use a lock they will cut it off & let someone else use it. There is no homecoming here or any types of spirit weeks, no clubs, there is no amenities or sense of “college life” literally feels like a community college with a “private university” price tag $$.

Loyola University Chicago - Chicago Erin Rafferty: Always friendly and the food is great 99% of the time. Only issue Ive had is fries that arent hot and that is rare!

Kendall College - Chicago Theresa Humanicki: Holiday Cookie Exchange was fantastic! Went with 12 friends and work colleagues. Class is lead by seasoned chefs who are faculty members. Simple to complex cookie recipes and you get to take home 16 different cookies (about 6.5 dozen).
