Mercer University Atlanta Campus - Atlanta M: If I can give Mercer 0 stars I would. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere. The nursing program is over priced for an old lab, nothing works, not even the glucose monitors they have you practice with. There’s only a couple of good professors that actually care about the students. They switch things up during middle of the semester, nothing is consistent. The worst part is when final grades were submitted I was shown a passing grade in a class, a week later I received an email stating that I failed the class. Georgia Baptist School of Nursing is not what it is hyped up to be, there are better schools in Georgia. And let me not forget, they accept students without all of the required prerequisites fulfilled, then once accepted into the program they tell you that you have few weeks to complete the prerequisites or you will be dismissed from the program. Do your research on other schools in the Georgia area before applying to Mercer, Save yourself. Gwinnett Technical College - Lawrenceville Joseph: I don’t even go to this school and I am absolutely appalled by what I’ve experienced in the last month. I had to take a exam for the department of agriculture it was on December 31 and the school kicked me out of the test because the school was scheduled to close earlier, obviously a miscommunication, but the officer threatened to have me arrested for trespassing If I didn’t leave in the middle of my paid exam and now I can’t get anyone on the phone for over a month to try to reschedule at their cost. They have hung up on me numerous times and the line for the testing department is constantly busy. I would avoid this place like the plague. May God have mercy on your soul if you have to deal with these people. Brenau University North Atlanta - Norcross Christa Tamburo: Much closer to Atlanta than the Gainesville campus! Very comfortable common areas. Professors are very knowledgable and have real world experience. Definitely recommend! Georgia State University Perimeter College - Clarkston Campus - Clarkston Bre “P3ac3 P3ac3”: I have had the best experience at this school. I chose to continue my studies here as well. I am a Biology major at GSU, I had been here when it was Georgia perimeter college before they merged. I have grown with the school. I meet some great professors whom also helped me get through. Between being a new mom and student my teachers where always willing to help. The classes are amazing of course some teaching methods were easy to understand but tutors are always on hand/helpful. They are patient and as long as your willing to see your education through you should be set. I comment much on the school rates. When I entered was receiving financial aid. Athens Technical College - Monroe Campus - Monroe Ray Con: Just got my class A License at the age of 48(so age is not an issue). I would highly recommend this school if you’re serious about becoming a licensed professional truck driver. The instructors are passionately dedicated about helping you, (if you’re serious) to get your license. I’m truly grateful that I had passionate and dedicated instructors. Mr B, Mr J, & Mr K.

Excellent campus! The grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The staff and faculty are incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and eager to help—offering truly outstanding customer service. The campus bookstore and café are convenient bonuses, and the library is definitely worth a visit for its resources and quiet study space. It’s clear that this institution prioritizes the well-being and success of its students, faculty, and staff. A shining example of what a college experience should be! Georgia Highlands College - Rome Amanda Piatt: Georgia Highlands College Rome campus is one of the most beautiful campuses of GHC. The staff are friendly, the security makes me feel safe especially during late visits and everyone is masked. The price per credit hour for in state tuition is fantastic. Probably the highlight is Paris Lake and the boardwalk; nice to walk off the stress of an exam! Wiregrass Georgia Technical College - Fitzgerald Mandy Allen: The staff here are super friendly and very helpful with admissions, registration and financial aid. My instructor in healthcare Mrs. Burch was so good. Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the tests and chapter quizzes ( which are the same for all campuses) have so many errors. Often the multiple choice doesnt match the question, or the answer key will mark you wrong when you chose the correct answer, question language does not match reading material and can confuse you, and questions where you have to match multiple terms to definitions from column A to Column B dont always match the answer key. So, though you may have gotten all of them correct if the answer key doesnt match HOW you are suppose to match them on the test you get all of them wrong. You will need to know your stuff and go back and recheck your wrong answers to make sure you really got them wrong or if it is a test error. I had to take pictures with my phone of every question that was marked wrong that I knew was correct, find the information to back me up in the textbook and send the info via email to my instructor to get credit for the questions. The tests need to be updated to match current material being used and errors removed. I wonder how many students before me just accepted their grade and did not check to see why they got something wrong or if it was an actual test error. My instructor was great about giving me credit for all of the test errors I found, but this should not be an issue at all. Tests should be accurate. I did email the dean about this and my instructor was aware, but nobody even acknowledged my emails. So, Know your work and check behind your tests and quizzes. You just may have a better grade than whats reflected.
