Piedmont University - Demorest Bruce Nunley: The music conservatory at Piedmont is exceptional in the performances. Well worth the drive and maybe a ticket, although most of the performances Ive attended were free and open to the public. The Chapel has such great acoustics and the PIPE ORGAN - Lovely!!

Clark Atlanta University - Atlanta Aren: I had lunch at Clark Atlanta and WOW! Wednesday fried chicken is FIRE!!! Shout out to the panthers for welcoming me to their university!

South Georgia State College Waycross Campus - Waycross Leonda Reed: I wanted to leave my personal review on this college because thats just how much I adored my experience there. As a recent AAHS Graduate, I must say my journey to this point was mostly pleasant at this school. With barely a few hiccups along the way that were easily rectified by the helpful staff at this college in some way shape or form. I will be attending another school to finish my ASN but will be coming back to SGSC to finish my bachelors in the future. I wanted to also speak on a few people there who really helped me along the way being so pleasant and going above and beyond there job at all times If I needed them. One of them was Mrs. Lynn Crews (she needs a raise ASAP) lol, I will forever love her. She was always so pleasant, helpful, and willing to get the answers for me even when my advisor wasnt able to do so. She is awesome! The other people I want to speak highly of was my Math teacher, Mrs. Becky Griffin, always so pleasant and supportive, Ms. Paula Fales my English teacher, always so pleasant and supportive, Mr. Randy Yonz was my teacher for two classes and has always been pleasant, helpful and wants to see you succeed as long as you do the work. I honestly loved all my teachers that I had in person, lol...they were very helpful in all ways

Admissions - Valdosta Christopher Hilley: Did a tour here, they were very helpful in answering all my questions and provided helpful information about the campus. I am looking forward to applying and attending college here

University of Georgia Extension Office (Effingham County) - Springfield Gary Corbin: Staff was very friendly, helpful and informative.

Savannah Technical College-Effingham Campus - Rincon Celina Lambeth: Arrived here for GED orientation for one of my children who is bored with homeschool. All staff members were kind and led us through each section of registration with care. Pre- test results were delivered with comapssion and the Adult Education Department in Savannah answered all of my questions. After we left and I discovered that my son needed to adjust his semester start date and updates were made in the computer before my phone call even ended. Not sure about the bad reviews as both Effingham and Savannah campuses have been nothing but patient and gracious.

Southeastern Technical College - Swainsboro Moochiemae: Unless you already know the basics of driving a truck, dont waste your time & money bc youll still have to pay out of pocket expenses. The instructors mostly sit around & watch. Show you the maneuver once & youre expected to figure it out. In 3wks we only did 1 full pretrip once. Not done every day as it should be but were documenting 30mins pretrip every day. On average we might get a few hours of training which includes cross training & switching students in & out the trucks. Did parallel once, blind side once & was moved bk to offset backing with another student. Blind leading the blind!! 3 trucks 8 students. Maybe its hard to teach people what you already know. If you dont get it in time youll have to withdraw. 7 wks is enough to learn what you need to but if your instructors arent teaching you instead of telling you, you wont be able to pass. Ive never felt so dumb & defeated!! They dont care if you get it or not. Theyre already paid * so is the school. Reflecting hours we havent done. This school should be used as a refresher course. Its not for beginners. Good luck
