South Georgia Technical College - (Andersonville GA)

5 /5 Christopher Hill: So far, I got my son set to start the 2025 summer semester. We visited the school and it was welcoming and although its a technical school, the energy is good and optimistic. Everyone from emissions, financial aid, housing, teachers and all were polite and welcoming. i will give another review after we get down the road.

5 /5 Earl Carter: Hello, I graduated from South Georgia Technical School in 1981, I loved every day of school. I had three great instructors, two Jacks and one Big E AKA The Eliminator, so you did your assignments. I road a 1980 Honda 750F 4 into 1 header no baffling. 93.7 average Diesel Mechanic, Earl the Pearl the greatest in the world.

5 /5 † Iтѕ Gяєg-Sαvαgє †: You wont get bored at South Georgia Tech. There are many fun activities to keep students entertained. The SLC schedules many different activities on campus, such as virtual NASCAR ®, blood drives, Fun Flicks, and other activities. Also, the Campus Life department offers intramural sports for all seasons. You can find students participating in flag football, basketball and softball. Also, students enjoy the softball field, tennis courts, weight room, and gymnasium between classes.

4 /5 K.D. Jackson: Its a good school. There is a variety of choices that allows students to have a larger opportunity in what they study. The advisors are great as well as the support staff. MOST of the senior staff members are supportive, as well. I leave that for you to find out. The organizations give students the feel of college life. I lean more towards PBL and NTHS because not only are they great organizations that can help a person improve their resume but they encourage values I embrace as well such as giving back to the community, leadership, and teamwork. As far as the student who claims they dont care about their students or staff? I cannot speak about how the staff is treated but after two life changing events (The death of my father and my near death) the school rallied around me with support and prayers. Some of my advisors even came to visit me and prayed with my family when I was in a coma. It could improve but it is suitable as it is as well. My son has expressed an interest in attending school there for wielding once he completes high school in a couple of years. If he still is interested in going when the time comes he has the support of his father, his stepfather, and myself.
