NIU Computer Science Building - DeKalbHasnain Attarwala: Building in serious need of an upgrade. CS classes need computers or better desks like in Cole hall with electric outlet so we can bring our own laptops. Have microphones for professors.
Were packed in small rooms. I know itll get upgaded, it has to.
NIU School of Art and Design - DeKalbAlejandro CAMACHO BARRERA: It is an Art School with comfortable and equipped spaces to experiment with various artistic and other craft disciplines. Its excellent!
University of St. Francis - Jolietbartholomew B: St. Francis is a small university located in the heart of Joliet, Illinois. I started my academic journey at St. Francis as a transfer student in the Summer of 2024. The campus, while beautiful, is old and outdated. However, with what St. Francis lacks in its lackluster campus aesthetic, it makes up for in its grueling and up-to-date academics. I typically spend every waking hour attending class, studying, and completing assignments. If I need help, most of my professors are just an email or phone call away. There is always someone there to help you. I genuinely feel as though I learn something in every single class. Overall, I’m fairly happy with my experience.
Governors State University - University ParkMbawoh Synorine: Great School. The campus is quiet and class sizes are small. Most lectures are in the afternoon and evening hours. This is the perfect place for those who work during the day. My husband had his masters here.
Southeastern Illinois College - HarrisburgCheyann Boatright: Just graduated with two associates degrees! I loved my experience here! I would and will recommend to anyone! Great teachers, great cafeteria, lovely campus(no smoking too), great daycare; my son went out there for 2 1/2 years! Now Im a transfer student to a university of my dreams! Wish I had the time to participate in a lot more extracurricular activities but that just wasnt in the cards. Thank you SIC for giving me and my little boy so many opportunities!
P.S. We have the #1 Nursing Program in the STATE!
