Rasmussen University - Rockford - Rockford Kayla Faber: I was part of the Business Management Associates program at Rasmussen University and have plans to continue forward towards my Bachelor’s. What has stood out to me during my time at Rasmussen, are the online resources provided such as the Student Library and the flexible tutoring options. Another positive are the instructors that were always thorough whenever I had questions or concerns. This made classes easier to navigate and I truly never felt lost during my courses. Lastly, I greatly appreciated the balance between work, school, and home life that I was able to manage by taking this online program. I look forward to my future with Rasmussen and could confidently recommend this University to others! Rock Valley College - Rockford Josh Frank: Rock Valley College is a great school! Campus is beautiful and accessible, professors are invested in the students and make class enjoyable. My experience here has been fantastic; I haven’t taken a class I’ve regretted. Rockford Career College - Rockford Lisa: I completely do not recommend this school for their ultrasound Sonography program. 2 of the 3 teachers at this institution are extremely unprofessional and feels the need to cut down students when their having a bad day. The equipment is extremely outdated and the teachers will blame you if the equipment is broken (the previous head of the department early on in the program blamed me and another student for breaking a transducer even though we told her we never dropped it).
From the last cohort Sept 2024, only 7 students of 21 students passed. The other students that did not pass the teachers told us to not come back (the president however told us we were welcome to retake the class but no one felt comfortable with the teachers).
If you want to go into sonography, I recommend trying your local community college or going into another program at this college. In addition, this school is only accredited in abdomen, while most community colleges are accredited in abdomen and vascular.
I will say the positive is the principal and VP are really nice and take your concerns very seriously. I also talked to a few admins and they were really kind and upset with what happened to our cohort. I think other programs at this school would be more professional and organized than what I dealt with. Lewis University - Romeoville Sev J: So after tens of thousands AND a $150 graduation fee, I received a flimsy and bent envelope in the mail containing my diploma. The school wont replace it unless I pay them another $50. Complete joke UIC College of Pharmacy at Rockford - Rockford Adriana Diaz: The service was excellent and the staff was efficient. The room smelled like it had been disinfected. Ill recommend this site to my friends when they are in need of Covid testing. No appointment is necessary M-F closes at 5pm. NIU Rockford - Rockford Wendy K: Went there for job fair. Nice inside. Plenty of restrooms. Drinking fountains also. Judson University - Rockford Samantha Corey: Sent me too much money on my refund and did not catch it until almost time for graduation. Now I cant walk for graduation over this 900$ even though they have gotten over 50k from me.
