5 /5 Thaweesak T.: This campus gave me a lot of wealth experience in term of research contributions. I got the scholarship from Thailand’s government. The Computer Science department is very nice. Unforgotten place.

5 /5 Tony Gee: On a recent visit to the College of Staten Island, we went to their Center for the Performing Arts building. There they have an exhibit (I believe it is permanent) of friezes from the ancient Greek Parthenon (built between 447 & 438 B.C.). The College of Staten Island acquired these rare casts manufactured by the Caproni Factory of Boston. They were made from original molds created after Lord Elgin brought most of the Frieze to the British Museum in the 19th century. While on campus we were able to see a small herd of deer foraging. It is amazing to think that we are in New York City and yet having this experience. The College, covers 204 acres - the largest college campus in NYC. 9,788 full-time students attend the school.

Wagner College - Staten Island Michelle Sweeny: THE VIEWS of NYC from the cafeteria and dorms!!!!!! Stunning!!! We were excited to see the small liberal arts school just a ferry ride away from NYC! love the small feel of this college and the opportunity for close relationships with professors and students. I am so excited about the idea of watching sunrise and weather changes as I eat meals every day--- of having that daily view of the city skyline. however. tuition is steep ($52K per year is what we were quoted by our admissions officer) and buildings are in less than pristine condition. everything felt kinda icky, slightly dirty and a little bit musty. the showers, sinks, and toilets in the dorms were old and kinda yuk. I cant imagine feeling incredibly clean or refreshed. The view from the window was incredible and breathtaking, but the dorm room and bathrooms on the other side of that view.... old and dismal. not worth the tuition price in my opinion...buildings need to be better maintained and renovated. Nothing seemed particularly unique about the curriculum or course offerings: it seems fairly standard as far as education goes, and we can get cleaner and better facilities for far less money at Indiana University or Depauw University closer to home. next in our college tours we are going to Europe where tuition is free and housing is even less expensive, culture is more international and education is more global. We will tour some universities in Germany, Italy and France and see how they compare. But who knows? maybe Wagner will seem incredible after we go to the oldest university in Italy? Rockland Community College - Suffern Shawn Surma: I was here for a gymnastics meet and while the facility is large it is also a little dated. It has seen better times. The walk to the field house is almost dangerous especially for disabled people. The college itself seems nice. I have not had any interaction with students but the security guards are very nice and helpful.

Dominican University - Orangeburg William Mazariego: Dominican College does in fact challenge the mind and spirit. The programs available at the college are indeed challenging but, rewarding with hard work, effort and determination. They offer a wide range of community oriented services that provides aid in the community and around the world from El Salvador to France. The colleges athletics program is well established and their Athletic Training staff are superb. Dominican College has definitely succeeded with providing students college wide services. For example, career services, onsite counseling, academic success are extraordinary services that the college provides to students. Knowledge, friends, networking and lifelong skills are often fruits that may be obtained from these initiatives. Overall, this college continues to meet the student needs. Proceed with their vision to make the campus community oriented, safe and a great experience for students and families. Especially, with the implementation of the new turf field being constructed and the Hennessy center being renovated. This college is going on the right path.

Mercy University - Dobbs Ferry J Oli: My recent experience with the Admissions department Joseph Armstrong left much to be desired. If this is any indication of how the college manages its operations, I can only imagine what the rest of the administration must be like. Communication was unclear, timelines were inconsistent, and the level of organization was far below what one would expect from a higher education institution. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, the admissions process did not inspire confidence. Prospective students and their families deserve a smoother, more respectful, and transparent experience—especially when making such an important life decision. There’s definitely room for improvement.
