Boricua College - New York Ledesma Alejandro: I dont attend this school, but I enjoy checking reviews and a lot of former students mention the predatory tacticts they have to get you in; the useless classes for their bachellors, and how expensive it is compared to the CUNY/SUNY System (which is thousand times bettter and cheaper), and how staff are rude. Someone even mention that it feels like nobody follows policy or the syllabus (which gives a lack of preparation). The overal feeling i got from these reviews is to think twice about going to this college/ just stay away. I entered the School of Engineering and Science in 1966, and I met my first wife here, and she was in the last graduating class from the School of Arts and Sciences. Great memories. If you take/plan to take prerequisites with CUSON in the hopes of transferring, make note of the following: their prerequisites are listed as NURSING classes not SCIENCE classes.
Most nursing programs WILL NOT accept “nursing” credits from another college, even Columbia. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY taking nursing school prereqs here unless your future college will accept the credits. Other name-brand colleges are listing their science prerequisite courses as Nursing courses as well. BE CAREFUL!
