5 /5 s arthur: Love the campus, the area, people are helpful.
5 /5 Peter Schulten: Did my BBA in Information Systems and Business Analytics here at LaPenta School of Business. Iona is a great little school with the resources to help students who are willing to take advantage of them. The quality of the education is good, and the quality of the alumni network is better. It’s proximity to NYC is a huge plus for post graduate work.
5 /5 S Limones: Great time at spring preview day. We had a wonderful young lady who showed us around campus. We greatly appreciated the day and the campus is a nice small homey campus with everything you need around in a Short distance. Felt safe and great worth. Only non-Ivy in the north east that has a rowing team (walk on!) how neat is that. Consider this beautiful college when searching for a place for your young adult to call home for a few years.
Alfred University - AlfredAnonymous: Honestly speaking, the university has a nice scenery and many resources but the people here are just!!! The food also is mid, not good, not bad, I have gotten sick from the food more times then id like to admit. For the amount of money they charge and the fact that they keep increasing each semester payment by about $1000, you would think new things or better quality would be introduced.
They lure you in with a seemingly nice scholarship but then the semester payments make you have a mini heart attack. Even with loans and financial aid, they still have me paying about $4k for the semester payment. Absolutely ridiculous and not worth the money.
The financial aid office lacks accountability sometimes aswell, if something needs to be updated/done or if something was updated, they won’t even let you know, you have to find out for yourself and sometimes have to dig deep with them.
The counselors for therapy, come on, can we do better?
Again, not worth the money. If you come to this school, I advise you to join off of HEOP or know that you will be able to afford thousand dollar semester payments (2k - 5k+).
Alfred University, please do better. Your financial aid office and their process/effort.
School Rating: 4/10
Hubbard Hall - Mickennon Wilson: They are doing everything they can to make sure staff and students are safe in this 2020 season.
Empire State University at Rochester - Rochestermaria Palmer: I am so glad to know what military did to my ancestors during my cultural studies. That is good to be educated. Thankful for gen ed sung requirements
Rochester Institute of Technology - RochesterSteve Hauser: This school really prepares you for the real world since they work you really hard no matter what major you take. I really loved the food and would always wrap some up to go. You really have to manage your time well because the work could be a lot. I did not like the male to female ratio, there were not enough females to go around. The $15,000 tuition was a lot to me but this was thirty five years ago LOL but I do miss this place.
University of Rochester - Manuel Chan: University of Rochester is a prestigious institution renowned for research, dedicated faculty, diverse programs, and strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. Vibrant campus.
Monroe Community College Downtown Campus - RochesterDylan: This is a brand new campus and may I say it looks incredible. The building is amazing inside and out so many different resources available for students. The professors are the best they really want you to succeed. They will go out of their way for you if you are a good student. I attended both campuses and MCC gives you a great learning experience at an affordable price. Highly recommend.
