Pratt Institute - (Brooklyn NY)

5 /5 Heather Wimberly: I know several people who went to Pratt including an architect that I worked with in the 1980’s and my daughter and her classmates. Let me just say that both my professional associate and my daughter are extremely successful in their fields of endeavor and are generally happy, well adjusted human beings. I loved the campus because it reminded me of Harvard Yard where I attended school back in the dark ages. I did hear that the Pratt Cats were relocated during the pandemic and have not returned to the campus, which is a great loss. Here’s to reinstating the Pratt Cat tradition as soon as possible!

4 /5 Pam Hawkins: My daughter goes to Pratt right now- she finished the two year AA and was automatically accepted into the four year BFA program. She had a hard time attending the Manhattan campus however she is loving her classes in Brooklynn now. There seems to be friendly people everywhere in NYC so I give it a 4 star status so far!

5 /5 Harmon Andrew (Werd69): We went on a campus tour today. My daughter and I loved the campus. Its not too big or too small. Nice old buildings and an engine room. My daughter wants to do animation and film. The facilities for them are up to date and student to professor ratio is 12 to 1. Dorms seem good. We werent able to go into any of them but from the outside and description they sounded nice. All in all this school has jumped to number one on my daughters list of schools.
