5 /5 Teresa Young: Beautiful campus. The library and chapel were exceptional, and I got to meet a bunny.
5 /5 Richard K: First of all, I do not attend school so I cannot comment on the quality of education youll receive at Vassar College. I enjoy visiting various colleges and universities and I take photos because I find them very photogenic and Vassar did not disappoint me at all. Walking through the campus was very peaceful and quiet. It was Parents Weekend and the college was giving tours. I went everywhere with my cameras. My first stop was the college library. It is beautiful in the inside just like the outside. Check out the stained glass window inside the reading area. I found the science building very interesting too. When I went to the chapel somebody was giving instructions or possibly lessions on the huge pipe organ. Sunset Lake provided a great photo opportunity. Vassar Lake was not as pretty. The Main Building was busy with visiting parents. I briefly went into the art gallery but I had my backpack of camera equipment with me and I did not want to leave it anywhere. I would have loved to have seen it. Vassar Collage: famous and classic.
5 /5 Once Upon a Journey: We walked around Vassar College, one of the historic Seven Sisters colleges, and enjoyed it so much!
The buildings and nature are so beautiful. A must-visit on campus is the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center with new and historical art from artists all around the world.
5 /5 JAMES H.: We love the campus , the people and students of Vassar College. And I hope my boy will enjoy his best four years life here.
5 /5 Olga Mejia: I was honored to go work for few hours at Vassar. From the moment I entered the main gate I felt magical. It was like living in one of those famous movies . Beautiful , clean, peaceful, great energy.
Student Activities - PoughkeepsiePhillip Walter Johnson: The ski club is angreatbgroup of students. I enjoyed driving them. Drew , chase, and the others.
State University of New York at New Paltz - New PaltzWill MC: Nice looking school, but thats about as much as it has going for it. Their dorm buildings are plagued with asbestos, not cleaned properly, and the school lacks sufficient space to house its students. Freshman must live on campus, but the school over accepts and finds themselves unable to fit them all, so they force three students in rooms meant for two people. There is constant ongoing construction, which would be great for solving the housing issue, but their progress is at a constant standstill, and half of the projects are unrelated to housing entirely. They are closing the only dining hall on campus next semester with no clear plan for students who rely on allergy free, reliable, and/or healthy (its debatable if what they serve already can be categorized as edible, let alone healthy) food options. The administration feels separated from the student and staff body, with grievances about admin being the only thing people seem to agree with each other about at this school. Not my favorite waste of 12,000 dollars and a semesters worth of time I can no longer get back.
Vassar College Store - PoughkeepsieBrooklyn Tai Brooklyn: This college store had a lot of stuff, I was happy to see pet gear in case you want to have your own pet mascot. I was not pleased to see two different types of shot glasses. I think they should invest in the scanable notebook paper, thats a better use of money.
