It is the parents that tell their children, hit back if anybody does anything to you. Then u have the parents. that dont supervise, make their children take responsibility, do their homework, and dont hang around kids that are trouble. Know, who u r children are hanging around at school, and u wont have any problems. All things change but some people dont. Teachers can only facilitate the learning process, kids need to know it is their responsibility to learn. Remember that old adage: You can lead a horse to drink water but you cant make it, drink it! Parent Involvement is needed at school. You dont quit "involvement" after elementary school.
