5 /5 Aaron L: Both of our kids have been attending Mini-Texans for over a year now. We noticed an improvement in their social skills and educational development. We also like how our Christian values are reinforced by the staff and incorporated in the curriculum. We highly recommend Mini-Texans as the staff seem to have a passion for educating little ones.

5 /5 Kiana Sonora: I am delighted my son has finally been able to start at Mini Texans. Coming from a Montessori program, I was nervous about his transition but the staff, the teachers and most especially the Directors Kyla and Jennifer, have made this transition a breeze. The facility is clean and secure, I love the single entrance and check in process. The teachers are not only teaching basic curriculum but also incorporating Christian values and stories, the crafts are so darling and the environment as a whole is exact what my family needed. He even brought his school prayers home and started teaching siblings and repeating after things we’re excited about by saying “Thank you Jesus!” at three years old! My son is thriving here and it’s absolutely the best choice we could have made for him. We love minis!

5 /5 Terees Carr: We have lived in Boerne for 2.5 years now and just recently made the switch from another local, outdoor based, daycare to Mini Texans and could not be happier. The facilities are so secure, so clean, and tucked away from the traffic of the main roads which is comforting from a safety perspective. The food that the children are given are prepared in house by a chef who has worked at the facility for over 7 years (not to mention the kitchen is immaculate and always so clean with the yummiest smells every time I walk through the school). The playgrounds are top notch, and they offer so many extra curriculars on site (basketball, soccer, etc). So far, we have had 2 different teachers and I have loved both. The director, assistant director, and front desk staff are all so happy in the morning greeting each child by name and offering hugs. Communication on the Kaymbu app is adequate although I do wish we got more pictures throughout the week. Overall, it truly is a great school, and we are lucky to be a part of it!

5 /5 Keagen Phipps: My husband and I love Mini Texans! We were moving into town, and Marcy allowed us to tour her facility over the weekend. We signed up right after the tour, since we liked what we saw. Weve been there just over a year now, and we couldnt be happier. The teachers are so engaged and truly care about my children. Marcy and Jonathan are always available for questions. Im glad we found a Christian day care that supports and reinforces our beliefs. As long as we live in the area and have kids young enough to attend, thats where theyll go.

AppleTree Day School of Boerne, Inc. - Boerne Marissa McMichen: I have had both kiddos enrolled and have no complaints! Each room my kids are in, I have gotten to know the teachers on a personal level and feel 100% comfortable leaving my babies in their care. Jennifer, Lloyd, and Paige feel like family. Any questions or concerns I may have are always addressed immediately. The teachers send me photos daily and always respond on the app if I message them during the day. I had both kids start at 3 months (room 1). I believe the teachers who have cared for my kids have contributed to making them the sweet, lovable, easy going kids they are! My toddler loves going to school and has never given me a hard time at drop off and that just reassures me that they are loving my babies like I would.

Kendall County Head Start - Boerne Julia Turbes: I highly recommend Boerne Head Start! All of the teachers are so kind to each child, truly encouraging each to their strengths. They keep parents informed on childs progress and encourage parent participation. My child has thrived by their foundation of learning. I am confident we made the BEST choice for our pre-k child. I love this school!!!! Many thanks and words cannot express how truly good they are!!!

St John Lutheran Church - Boerne Sarah Primiano: I recently visited St. John Lutheran Church for the first time with my sister and my 2-year-old son. While I found the worship service meaningful and enjoyable, I was extremely disappointed with the experience in the church nursery. The nursery is intended to provide childcare for children up to age three during worship services. Upon arriving, I was surprised by how impersonal the environment felt. The three young women working in the nursery did not greet me or my son, nor did they make any effort to introduce themselves or engage with him. I sat with him for a few minutes to help him adjust, but the lack of interaction from the caregivers made him visibly uncomfortable. When I attempted to share some information about his interests — such as books and toy cars — and explained that he might cry for a few minutes after I left, my comments were met with little acknowledgment. After I left, I observed through the window for about 15 minutes. During that time, my son stood crying alone in the adjoining room, while the three workers remained in a separate area, engrossed in conversation about college classes. No one attempted to comfort, redirect, or even acknowledge my sons distress. Only after 15 minutes did one of the women approach him with toy trains, at which point he seemed somewhat calmer, allowing me to attend the service. When I checked back again a short time later, I noticed the nursery windows had been covered, preventing parents from seeing inside, which made me feel uneasy. After the service, I found my son standing in the same spot, still crying. The nursery workers said nothing to me when I arrived. It became apparent that his diaper was soiled, and based on the situation, it seemed he had been left in that condition for some time. One of the workers mentioned that he had “just started crying” after they told him I might be coming soon, but it was clear he had been upset for much longer. As a former church volunteer who worked with children, including those with special needs, I was deeply disheartened by the lack of care and attention displayed. It is unsettling that a church would allow individuals so disengaged to care for its youngest attendees. While I truly enjoyed the worship service itself, I cannot recommend the nursery at this church based on our experience. I would strongly encourage any families considering childcare during services to exercise caution.
