Angel and the group of teachers at the Bio-Dome foster a supportive and engaging environment where children can learn important intellectual, emotional, and social skills to prepare them for kindergarten. While the kids have educational instruction (including Spanish lessons, writing letters and numbers, and reading), there is also ample time for play, physical activity, and creative art projects. I especially appreciate the programing that focuses on nature and the environment, with the children helping to care for baby salmon as part of the Tri-State Steeheaders program and grow vegetables in the garden. The healthy lunch menu (all cooked in-house) incorporates these fresh vegetables, and my kids often comment on how delicious the food is. I cannot recommend the Bio-Dome enough! Colfax School District - Colfax Ian Olsen: this school just loves to go and cause problems for students who dont play basketball or dont come from a strong farming family. There have been so many unresolved conflicts because the teachers turn a blind eye if you play sports or if go and harvest wheat so many times ive seen peopled bullied to the point of near suicide and the poor student who would be full of sorrow would go to the principle or student dean to just be told " That we will look into it and get this problem solved" when all the school does is kick it under the rug and pretend like it doesnt even matter . hell this school cares more about making improvements to the school than rather take care of the damn students inside.
