I received both my associate degrees here and all the teachers, advisors, tutors, math lab staff, and staff in general are spectacular. This campus may be small but is a community of students & staff from all walks of life that allows for a diversity rich environment.
This is a great place for active duty, retirees, spouses, and children of military members to attend. There are many perks to getting a transfer or associates degree here: Tutoring is free for students, your credits can practically transfer anywhere (always check with your advisor first), they have many events for students thrown by student Life, and the college provides a variety of degrees to choose from!
There is always someone who can help you or point you in the right direction because they care about your future. If you walk by your advisor or teacher, they will more than likely know your name and say hi. Its that close knit of a campus. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Oak Harbor Travis Lok: good school, except the director name Patrick, this guy never do anyone a favor, useless, im a retired veteran asking him to print out a proof of enrollment so I can show it to VA, after waited him for over couple hours he said there re no such kind of form, I ask the lady, she is assistant, she print out this form for me right away. After careful consideration, the administration of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has decided to cease operations at our Whidbey Island Site in Oak Harbor, WA. This was a difficult decision and one that was not taken lightly. All essential personnel have been notified of this decision, and the Whidbey Island Site will close effective March 1, 2025.
At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, your student experience is important to us. While we realize this closure may create some inconvenience, it is our intent to ensure you are afforded ample opportunity to take your coursework in as many modalities as possible. You will remain enrolled in your current degree program, and your progress toward degree completion should not be significantly impacted. All Embry-Riddle course modalities, Eagle Vision Classroom, Eagle Vision Home, and Online, will continue to be available. As well, federal student financial aid will not be affected by the change.
Your current Academic Advisor will not change. Students may continue to register for Eagle Vision Classroom courses onsite at the Seattle, WA site (see address below). Please contact your advisor for course offerings at this location.
