Warner University - Lake Wales Haley Jones: Two years ago I started here and attended classes for 3 weeks. My family had to move quickly due to my husbands job change and I had to put school on hold. For the 3 weeks I attended, and keep in mind the first week is a syllabus week, I owed them over 3,000. I wrote a letter explaining to them my situation and no response except "pay your account or we are sending you to collections". Two years later I pay $100/month still on the account. Worst school ever. $1,500 down and only $1,500 more to go. Florida Southern College - Lakeland Katy Fisk: I came to this campus to see the Frank Lloyd Wright buildings. Although they looked great from afar, the condition of the buildings was disgraceful. The buildings are crumbling apart and look like they might just come down on top of you. I would think they would try to keep these buildings from rotting and crumbling away but everywhere you turn, there is damage and mold. It is so sad to see. They need a ton of money to be poured into constant maintenance of these buildings 365 days of the year. I would not send my children to this school for fear the roof will collapse upon them while attending class. Polk State College - Winter Haven Benjamin Browne: Dont count on the financial aid department to help you much. Theyve completely ghosted me. Despite months of repeated visits to their office and assurances that someone will contact me... Crickets. Finally, I find out (from other sources) that they simply wont certify student loans for the real housing costs in the area. Southern Technical College - Auburndale - Auburndale Dasmine Mcmillian: My experience at Southern Tech has been educational, and very helpful. All the Professors treat you as if you are a part of the Southern Tech family with welcoming arms, providing resources and hands-on training within the field. I highly recommend this school. Polk State College - Clear Springs Advanced Technology Center - Bartow Diane McLeod: If your interested in changing jobs, and need a place to start you should look into CNC Machining classes. Its a class certification in CNC machine operation. Polk College also handles job placement for CNC machine operators after course completion . Polk College has an Excellent job placement track record, for those individuals that compete the course with certification.
