Illinois Institute of Technology - Chicago Ivan Corona: I was accepted to this university and came very close to accepting. However, after visiting the campus and considering various factors, I ultimately decided not to attend. Firstly, I want to emphasize that my review is solely based on my experience visiting the campus and its facilities; I did not take any classes here.
The campus lacks an inviting atmosphere; it doesnt give off the feeling of a traditional university campus. Moreover, there is minimal diversity within the student body. Considering this is an expensive private school, the buildings and facilities appear old and depressing, everything feels disconnected. If Im willing to invest this much money, I would prefer to choose a different institution.
In addition to these concerns, the area around the campus is not very safe. It consistently gives off a sense of unease, with the feeling that someone might be following you.
+ There is like two or three buildings that have some great qualities and interiors. DePaul University - Loop Campus - Chicago Tom Wilson: This school is very overpriced. My daughter goes here and the staff do little to no help when it comes to financial situations. I believe it is a race thing at this school, because they always try to stop her from registering for classes. University of Illinois - Chicago Sophie Tuscano: The hospital is the worst! Its very dirty some nurses are so lazy. Doctors dont communicate with each other or with family members. Dr. Christine Chan has no bedside manners has empathy for her patients. She rather let them die. And this hospital still keeps her. This hospital is a death sentence with Doctors like her and her team. Rush University Graduate College - Chicago Tiffany Owens: This has to be the worst health care facility that I have ever used services from. The doctors that I worked with were great. But when it Came to being open and honest about cost and payments this is where they fell short. Before most of my appointments I asked how much would they cost. I got a different answer completely from what was billed to me. They coded one of my appointments wrong resulting in my insurance no longer covering it. When I tried to fight it and have them re-code it so that it will be covered with my insurance, they gave me a letter saying that they cannot do so. The amounts that they charged me are so off-base from what they told me that I will never go there again. I’ve had three separate appointments to where this has happened. If you decide to use this facility please make sure you get documentation about how much your visit will be before you leave. And do be surprised if they charge you triple what they told you. DeVry University - Chicago The Cook And the Cookie: John Bassmaji was the first student advisor I spoke with from DeVry soon after my inquiry to enroll back into school. Our first conversation solidified confidence in myself that I was making the right decision. There has not been any lack of communication since day one of my enrollment and I am currently on week 4 of my first semester. This Man is Friendly, Educated, knowledgeable, and Resourceful. His attention to detail and positive attitude is hard not to feed off. He always puts his students first and his professionalism compliments his work ethic. I highly recommend Mr. Bassmaji as your future student advisor.
