5 /5 Mary Elizabeth Enrile: Attended Berkmar High-school until sophomore year of 2006, left to attend a private school in Manila Philippines for less than a year; ended up coming back to the USA. Figured I wouldn’t want to waste money I don’t have just to have a high school diploma so I began working in the food industry for two years at 16 years old then got my General Education Diploma just in time that I turned 18 years of age. 2008 would’ve been my graduation date but thank God I skipped the whole unnecessary stress of high school & got an equivalent diploma. Came here few times to register for a college prerequisite but I never got any respond from admission back in 2015. It was a mess but now in 2024 so much improvement had taken place. Tagged along with mama since she’s registering for next semester. Great stuff.

Georgia Highlands College - Rome Amanda Piatt: Georgia Highlands College Rome campus is one of the most beautiful campuses of GHC. The staff are friendly, the security makes me feel safe especially during late visits and everyone is masked. The price per credit hour for in state tuition is fantastic. Probably the highlight is Paris Lake and the boardwalk; nice to walk off the stress of an exam!

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College - Fitzgerald Mandy Allen: The staff here are super friendly and very helpful with admissions, registration and financial aid. My instructor in healthcare Mrs. Burch was so good. Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the tests and chapter quizzes ( which are the same for all campuses) have so many errors. Often the multiple choice doesnt match the question, or the answer key will mark you wrong when you chose the correct answer, question language does not match reading material and can confuse you, and questions where you have to match multiple terms to definitions from column A to Column B dont always match the answer key. So, though you may have gotten all of them correct if the answer key doesnt match HOW you are suppose to match them on the test you get all of them wrong. You will need to know your stuff and go back and recheck your wrong answers to make sure you really got them wrong or if it is a test error. I had to take pictures with my phone of every question that was marked wrong that I knew was correct, find the information to back me up in the textbook and send the info via email to my instructor to get credit for the questions. The tests need to be updated to match current material being used and errors removed. I wonder how many students before me just accepted their grade and did not check to see why they got something wrong or if it was an actual test error. My instructor was great about giving me credit for all of the test errors I found, but this should not be an issue at all. Tests should be accurate. I did email the dean about this and my instructor was aware, but nobody even acknowledged my emails. So, Know your work and check behind your tests and quizzes. You just may have a better grade than whats reflected.

Mercer University - Macon Mike Daley: Awesome place to visit. One of the cleanest campuses Ive ever visited. Streets are laid out well. People are friendly. Makes me want to go to school again

Mercer University - McDonough T B Nice: I have to drop another star from this school due to the issues that I encountered after being approved for graduation and walking across the stage. After everything was approved and I have the documentation stating that I only required an elective and an internship during the summer, the university tried to hold my diploma by claiming I needed to complete 3 additional classes. After showing them my Audit that they signed and approved stating that I satisfied my requirements they had no choice but to release my diploma. I was not the only student that experienced this problem. Stressful and sad! I would have given the school 5 stars but i always have issues with one advisor, Dr. Hamilton. He has poor customer service, for the amount of money you pay for tuition, you would think they would fix that issue.
