5 /5 Angela Valentine: We went for a football game. It was pretty easy to find parking and the stadium. Pretty campus and drive to hamilton.
5 /5 David Gotman: Went on the trails near the college absolutely beautiful. Amazing scenery. Beautiful pathway and plenty of benches for people. Also many tree name explanations. Overall wonderful walk. Especially in nice weather.
5 /5 Marks Gabe (The marker 249): Beautiful to go on walks by, known many people who attended and loved the place!
5 /5 Robert Nelson: Lovely campus and the students are friendly. They were happy to share their experience at Hamilton College. The admissions staff were also helpful and took time to answer questions one-on-one. In spite of Covid, we had a great first experience there.
Molloy University - Rockville CentreDanielle Tsang: I am a parent of a visiting student and I was told by my child that she was harassed by a campus safety worker. He went up to my daughter on a bike, yelled at her and threatened to kick her off the campus. She called me shaken up after the event - She immediately turned around and left the campus. I am revoking my daughters attendance to this school. I am not comfortable sending my daughter to your school knowing this campus allows its public safety officers to harass its students, especially a white man threatening to ban a student of color.
Alfred University - AlfredAnonymous: Honestly speaking, the university has a nice scenery and many resources but the people here are just!!! The food also is mid, not good, not bad, I have gotten sick from the food more times then id like to admit. For the amount of money they charge and the fact that they keep increasing each semester payment by about $1000, you would think new things or better quality would be introduced.
They lure you in with a seemingly nice scholarship but then the semester payments make you have a mini heart attack. Even with loans and financial aid, they still have me paying about $4k for the semester payment. Absolutely ridiculous and not worth the money.
The financial aid office lacks accountability sometimes aswell, if something needs to be updated/done or if something was updated, they won’t even let you know, you have to find out for yourself and sometimes have to dig deep with them.
The counselors for therapy, come on, can we do better?
Again, not worth the money. If you come to this school, I advise you to join off of HEOP or know that you will be able to afford thousand dollar semester payments (2k - 5k+).
Alfred University, please do better. Your financial aid office and their process/effort.
School Rating: 4/10
Hubbard Hall - Mickennon Wilson: They are doing everything they can to make sure staff and students are safe in this 2020 season.
