The University of Texas at Tyler - Tyler Mery Geraldine Rendon: I applied for my master’s degree at this university, and as a dedicated student who has accomplished everything in the United States, I find it unacceptable that after months of waiting without a specific reason, I was denied admission without even the opportunity to reapply for future enrollment. I feel that my ethnicity has played a role in this decision. It is disappointing to confront what seems like bias within the admissions process. However, I am grateful that there are many other universities in this country. I firmly believe that the admissions team must address these issues of fairness and equality. Central Texas College - Killeen JUSTIN: STAY AWAY, the only thing they are good at is collecting your money. The instructors DO NOT TEACH ANYTHING. The CATE center is the obsolute worst place you ever want to go. You can learn more watching youtube then attending this place. The instructors literally tell you on day one that they dont care, and could care even less if they have a job or not. That was my sons very first day in any college class. His name is Mr. Rodriguez, he can be found sleeping most days in the middle of the construction trades shop. I brought this up to the department head, and of course my son has been a target since then, to the point that I have asked him to drop the courses at the CATE center and we will look into other schools.
