5 /5 Big Mac Attack: Best school in the nation for Business, Cyber Security, and Engineering. Top school for Military and Veteran students as well. Everything you need and looking for is close proximity to campus. Malls, shops, restaurants, Six Flags, and Sea World. If youre not here, then what are you doing with your life? Very rich and diverse campus, with plenty of opportunities all around. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. The food is really good at the Roadrunner Cafe too. Dont listen to the negative reviews. Get here now!

4 /5 Dan Pleger: I can not give an honest opinion on this university yet because I am still in the process of getting a degree. Once I graduate, I can give an actual rating. The campus itself is nice, and there are a lot of decent places to eat. Parking is like every other university or college its not great and late comers, and afternoon class goers have a harder time finding parking. If youre young and single, I would recommend getting into a dorm or college apartment so you can utilize the public transportation they have to ease your own burden of dealing with parking.

5 /5 Dominick Teague: I started at UTSA in Fall 2024 as a transfer student, and so far, it has been a great experience. Ive learned a lot, and there are plenty of opportunities to connect with different companies and build your networking skills. Have I seen every aspect of the university? No—but from my perspective as a veteran and transfer student, this has been a supportive and valuable place to continue my education.

Texas State University - Round Rock - Round Rock Eric Coronado: Ive attended ACC, Southwestern University, Texas Southern, and Texas State University. Texas State is by far the most impersonal, inflexible of them all. If you have any kind of issue, just know that youll be met with a machine-like resistance to any compromise. Students are treated with a general lack of compassion. Perhaps theyve grown too much, too fast, but this is not a place of understanding. As a military vet, their VA office is horrible at communicating. You would be much better off at any of the other places Ive mentioned, as they actually care about helping non-traditional students succeed. Texas State treated me like a burden, and left me feeling hopeless and owing money in the end because of their ineptitude. Do not be fooled. It is *all* about the money with this institution.

McMurry University - Abilene Justin Strickland: Shame on you launching fireworks off with out having the news networks send out a heads up. You just flooded the 911 center taking resources away from people who need them. We could hear that crap all the way past the mall. Hope you get a fine for it

University of North Texas - Denton Abnry Acehilm: The only thing I got out of UNT was a bunch of student debt and a piece of paper. Politics were taught far more in classes than anything useful for my major or the general working environment. Terrible school, terrible city, and an overall negative experience.

West Texas A&M University - Canyon Jennifer Quintana: The volunteers who helped us unload and move our son into Stafford Hall today were awesome! They were fast, efficient, and were patient with all our questions.
