University of North Georgia - Gainesville Campus - OakwoodTaylor Mooney: Make sure you know that when you walk across the graduation stage, they’ll call u the next week telling you “sorry you need more classes” and then you will ask them “how many more classes do I need?” And they will literally say “I cannot guarantee how many more classes”
Yet, you have an individual degree plan that specifically lists what you are supposed to pass/complete. Even if you have completed and passed all requirements they will still not release your degree to you. They just want your money. The employees here do not care about you or your future, just dollar signs.
UNG May have the lowest tuition cost, but with that you’re getting the lowest end of the stick.

Lanier Technical College Winder-Barrow Campus - WinderAmanda Fergusontyer: Affirmation was untidy. I had my secondary school mail my record to them since they werent doing the online exchange at that point. I called to check on the off chance that they got it yet they continued saying no. It was drawing near to the cutoff time when a lady disclosed to me my record has been there from the beginning yet they by one way or another missed it. The educators are an all in or all out. Some are hands on and know what they are instructing. Some others basically rely upon the online labs to show you everything. I actually cant fail to remember the devoid demeanor on my old educators face when I requested that he check the data about the task. I recommend asking your colleagues all things being equal. Planning was an issue for me. Most of the classes I needed to take were planned on similar dates and time. It made my program last more than anticipated. I was unable to take it any longer and made a move to move to an alternate school when my family moved.
Brenau University - GainesvilleK D: I wouldnt give this university one star if that were an option. The university seems alright through the enrollment process. The enrollment advisors and success coaches are great. After that you find out how bad the instructors really are as well as the provost and the registrar. All fully accredited master’s programs should be rigorous, but they should not be unbearable. The university crams an entire lifetime of work into seven weeks while claiming to cater to working adults with families. There is no support system whatsoever and the instructors are way too harsh with their grading. My colleagues went to universities with much better recognition and prestige and they were not anywhere near as overwhelmed as I was while attending Brenau. Time management is key, but I do not want to forget to mention that if you become ill and hospitalized for any reason, they will not empathize with you. If you need to submit an appeal to be readmitted to school or to gain financial aid eligibility, I would recommend you do not submit an appeal as they are still going to throw you out anyway even with all of your medical documentation. They are very quick to throw students out of the university with no looking back. Yet they wonder why their retention rate is so low. I would not recommend this school to anyone wanting to pursue a graduate degree. There are better options trust me.
Mercer University Atlanta Campus - AtlantaM: If I can give Mercer 0 stars I would. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere. The nursing program is over priced for an old lab, nothing works, not even the glucose monitors they have you practice with. There’s only a couple of good professors that actually care about the students. They switch things up during middle of the semester, nothing is consistent. The worst part is when final grades were submitted I was shown a passing grade in a class, a week later I received an email stating that I failed the class. Georgia Baptist School of Nursing is not what it is hyped up to be, there are better schools in Georgia. And let me not forget, they accept students without all of the required prerequisites fulfilled, then once accepted into the program they tell you that you have few weeks to complete the prerequisites or you will be dismissed from the program. Do your research on other schools in the Georgia area before applying to Mercer, Save yourself.
Gwinnett Technical College - LawrencevilleJoseph: I don’t even go to this school and I am absolutely appalled by what I’ve experienced in the last month. I had to take a exam for the department of agriculture it was on December 31 and the school kicked me out of the test because the school was scheduled to close earlier, obviously a miscommunication, but the officer threatened to have me arrested for trespassing If I didn’t leave in the middle of my paid exam and now I can’t get anyone on the phone for over a month to try to reschedule at their cost. They have hung up on me numerous times and the line for the testing department is constantly busy. I would avoid this place like the plague. May God have mercy on your soul if you have to deal with these people.
Brenau University North Atlanta - NorcrossChrista Tamburo: Much closer to Atlanta than the Gainesville campus! Very comfortable common areas. Professors are very knowledgable and have real world experience. Definitely recommend!
Georgia State University Perimeter College - Clarkston Campus - ClarkstonBre “P3ac3 P3ac3”: I have had the best experience at this school. I chose to continue my studies here as well. I am a Biology major at GSU, I had been here when it was Georgia perimeter college before they merged. I have grown with the school. I meet some great professors whom also helped me get through. Between being a new mom and student my teachers where always willing to help. The classes are amazing of course some teaching methods were easy to understand but tutors are always on hand/helpful. They are patient and as long as your willing to see your education through you should be set. I comment much on the school rates. When I entered was receiving financial aid.
